Web Installer

This guide provides step-by-step instructions for installing the new MIKE OPERATIONS Web using the web installer.

1. Install IIS

MIKE OPERATIONS Web requires IIS to be installed on the machine. Depending on the Operating System, several guides are available:

• Windows Server 2022
• Windows Server 2016
• Windows 11

2. Install MIKE OPERATIONS Web

Launch the Installer

Begin by locating the MIKE OPERATIONS Web Installer on your system.

Double-click the installer.

Review and Accept the License Agreement

Please review the License Agreement carefully. Once you have read and understood the terms, click Accept to proceed.

Begin Installation

Click Install to start the installation.

Complete Installation

Once the installation is complete, click Finish.

MIKE OPERATIONS Web will be installed in the following directory C:\inetpub\wwwroot\mikeoperationsweb.

Install Required Dependencies

The installer will then install Microsoft .NET 8.0.6 Windows Server Hosting and a new prompt will appear. Please accept the license terms and click Install.

Wait for the installation to finish.

Then click Close to finalize the process.

Once the installation completed, a new mikeoperationsweb is created in the inetpub folder.

3. Configure admin user

Once the installation is completed, open a web browser and type http://localhost:8080/. This will open the start up page.

Fill in the details of the first admin user, make sure to saved this for later use.
