Compare configuration¶
The purpose is to compare two model setups or their scenarios. The model setups assumes to have the same model version but one model has been updated (or is required to to be updated every few year to reflect the infrastructure changes if there have been any, example of Swedish waste water system is given where it is every year or 2nd year infrastructure is updated).
This 'Compare Configuration' is to compare the input and output between these two model setups and identify the inputs no longer present, output not present and the inputs or outputs that are common.
Compare configuration menu¶
The menu is available when selecting either two model setups or two scenarios (scenarios can be selected even if they are on different model setups).
Compare configuration form¶
Click the menu, then the form below will show.
The left panel lists all the model object types of the model setups. By default, all model object types are checked.
The right panel has two tabs, Input Time Series and Output Time Series. Both shows the model object type, the model object name, the time series name and the comparison result. The input Time Series also has the Value Type, Variable and Unit columns.
Comparsion result shows one of the following options in each row where the name of the model setup/scenario is shown.
- Identical: The input/output time series are in both model setups or scenarios.
- Different: For input time series. It indicates the value type, variable and unit are different but the remaining properties are the same.
- ModelSetup1/Scenario1 only: The input/output time series are only in one model setup or one scenario.
Include or exclude the input/output time series¶
Multiple rows can be selected. Right-clicking on the selected rows, a context menu will show. The sub menu shows the available scenarios.
The Exclude menu is only enabled for scenario comparison.
